APPLICATION PROCEDURE

STEPS

1. Create an account here by submitting your email address and full name. Open your email and verify your account. You will be given the opportunity to create a password once you have verified your account/email address. Once you have created your password, come back to this page and do the step below.
2. To register your project for the Science Fair click on this link. Enter your email address and password to log in. Once logged in, you will have access to the registration form.

Registration closes on 22 January 2025. Finalists will be announced on 03 February 2025. The Science Fair will be held on 26 -28 February 2025

WHAT TO SUBMIT

•  Project Abstract and Report. Junior entrants (Grade 1 to 7) are required to submit the abstracts only. Abstract and Report templates can be downloaded below.
• Proof of Payment for registration.
• Media Release Form. The form can be downloaded below.
• Headshot. A nice photo showing your face, from shoulders up.
• Continuation projects (Projects submitted in previous fairs) will need to submit a completed Continuation Form.

Students planning to work on projects involving human participants, or using hazardous chemicals, activities or devices, and some PHBA’s including protists, composting, coliform test kits, decomposition of vertebrate organisms and microbial fuel cells must contact admin@zimsciencefair.com for approval prior to experimentation.
